Melanie Good-Fox is a seasoned administrative assistant with more than 25 years of experience in the medical, hospitality, and education industries. Melanie has extensive experience with all administrative tasks, management, and training. She thrives in challenging situations and does her best work in high-volume settings. She has a strong ability to streamline processes, maximize efficiency, and foster relationships within organizations. She predicts need and always practices personal accountability in the workplace.

Melanie’s passion centers around what role she can play in helping others find solutions, remain motivated, and ultimately succeed in reaching their goals. She is an openhearted team player, committed to excellence in serving others. Melanie practices a streamlined and intuitive approach to assisting others with empathy, efficiency, and astute problem-solving. Melanie believes that her experience, professionalism, and proactive demeanor are a perfect match for the “many hats” that the administrative assistant for the SKC Nursing Program is required to wear.

Melanie has been active over the past 40 years volunteering for many organizations throughout the Mission Valley. Melanie is an ambitious, outgoing individual who seeks extensive adventure in everything that comes her way in life, including vacationing in Maui, photographing the unparalleled beauty of Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness while on horseback and, when possible, from a helicopter.

Melanie is the mother of four amazing world changers (Shalana, Lacy, Kezia, and Christopher) and grandmother to 11 adorable, talented, and gifted grandchildren. She is married to the love of her life, Tim (her silver-haired) Fox, who is also employed by Salish Kootenai College as a tutor in the Writing Center.
